Seedtag Addresses Concerns Regarding Ad Placement on Content-Poor Websites

Written by Seedtag | Feb 10, 2025 9:23:13 AM

Seedtag is aware of a recent research study conducted by DeepSee.io, regarding ad placements on websites with limited or low-quality content. We take these matters seriously and are committed to maintaining the highest standards for our advertising network.

We are actively investigating the specific instances highlighted and are conducting a thorough review of our publisher network. As a first step, we have already disconnected inventory from Bidgear from our network. We are also working closely with partners like Jounce Media to understand how these sites were not previously flagged and blocked.

Our immediate actions include:

  • Enhanced Publisher Audits: We are implementing a more robust and comprehensive audit of our entire publisher network to ensure ongoing compliance with our quality standards.
  • Automated Detection: We are developing an automated system to identify and flag websites with minimal or insufficient content for review and potential removal from our network. This will enhance our proactive monitoring capabilities.

Seedtag's premium network is a priority. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality advertising experience for our clients and users. We are committed to transparency and will continue to refine our processes to ensure brand safety and appropriate ad placement. We will share updates as we progress.
